Automated / Electric Gate Maintenance

Remembering to have your appointment booked for your automated gates can be challenging. It could be tiring, particularly while busy working and juggling family life. Here at London Gate specialist, we will do the job for you. We’ll inform you when the services are due and make sure they are booked at a time that fits your needs.

All our maintenance and service contracts are custom-designed and tailored to accommodate any setup and system installed on the property.

We manage several gates that are automated or electric for our clients, such as commercial and residential parking, schools, car parks, block management, and industrial systems.

We can provide maintenance and service for the gate you have in place without installing the gate system initially.

Maintenance of the gates, electric or automatic, is essential to ensure that safety features are in good working order and to stop breakdowns that may disrupt day-to-day activities at the location where the automated entry system has been set up.

Based on the use of the motorized system, electric motors must be maintained, serviced, and repaired at a minimum every six months.

We Provide All Kinds of Automated System Services

  • An in-depth inspection of the system is under consideration to ensure that each component is in good functioning order. The entire process will take about 20-30 minutes for each gateway.
  • Before any servicing to the equipment is performed, the engineer will require that the client operate the system. This is done to check if the system is running in good condition before completing any work for servicing. If there are apparent flaws within your system, the service is billed as a fault-finding visit rather than a repair.

  • All moving parts are thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, and examined for abrasions. The engineer will also inspect the following items:
    1. The hinges must be aligned.
    2. Clean and inspect the gate track.
    3. Make sure to check the foundation box in the underground and drainage.
    4.  The safety edges are entirely operational. The photocells are aligned, and the gate is shut and reopens in the event of an impact.
    5. Examine for leaks in the oil.
    6. Cleanse dust and insects on all safety devices and circuits.
    7. Make sure to inspect all welds for fractures.
    8. They are also checked if intercom systems are included with keypad access control.
  • After the process is completed, a written report will be sent to the client. This report will provide details of any issues that have been identified and recommendations for the parts and repairs required.
  • If any work has to be performed on-site as a result of issues that are discovered during the service, it will be charged on an individual basis, depending on the nature of the work. After obtaining the customer’s approval, the service provider will carry out the repairs.

We can also provide a one-time service to your system based on the requirements of your system.
